The steam szechuan dumplings were 10/10, they're a tad spicy for me but balance out well with the soy sauce and chopped cucumber on top. The ribs were good too! Staff is super friendly as well and it's super cute and inviting inside.
Best hot and sour soup by a mile. Always a solid meal - authentic chinese. Great lunch spot.
Unexpected Excellence!!! Read the reviews & had also heard of this place from some friends of been here. The reviews had me a little worried because they talked about portions (meat selection in dishes) being exceptionally small, but this was not the case when we visited! The exterior may raise a questioning eyebrow, but don't let it fool you! It's charming & clean inside! I was craving sweet-and-sour chicken and honestly thought this was going to be just OK... (Combination of refuse/location, etc.). But I'm so glad we decided to give it a shot! It ended up being the best sweet-and-sour chicken I think I've ever eaten! (See pics) tender chicken with just the thinnest outside coating that was so crispy and delicious, chicken and not even remotely dry... Really amazing! Peppers carrots onions and pineapple we're all exceptionally fresh. Sweet-and-sour sauce was delicious and not gloppy or overly red with too much dye. Snack/starter wonton chips were fabulously crispy & not greasy at all. Hubby's meal was Szechwan shrimp & it was delish, snap peas so fresh. Servers were all SO polite, fabulous service from greeting at front door to the goodbye as we left. Impeccable. I LOVE being impressed like this by a business that's been around since the 80's! Fan-freakin-tastic!!!!
